*butts in* What a gorgeous photo! *pouts a little* I miss my camera.

You're not butting in!! Thank you sweetie! Pixel was posing shamelessly parked on the window ledge and I couldn't resist.

And I feel stupid - what happened to your camera? ::frets:pets::

Oh, it got stolen last spring. I'm very sad. The insurance only paid for half the value, and with all the other stuff I was paying for just then, I couldn't afford to spend it on a camera. I have my eye on one, but it's $250 at the cheapest, and I dunno. A new stove, which I really need, is just a bit more than that, you know? But I really miss having a camera.

Oh man! That sucks!!! But a stove would take priority over a camera for me too. I hope there's a little in your budget for one soon.

And may I just butt in myself here and say Cuuuute!!! *points wildly to (another) orange kitten* Good gravy, are they not the adorablest...

Thank you! That's Daniel--he is beautiful, and doesn't he know it, the vain thing. Heh. Although he's gi-normous now and not a teeny kitten (that was my shoulder he's perched on in the icon):

Oh, he IS ginormous!!! And what a spectacular coat he has... such a regal boy. I can see you love him to bits (no wonder)... smooch him on his perfect head for me, please!

Ha! I knew that cutie with the huge eyes was Daniel.
By this picture I see he's grown nicely into those eyes!
What a big beauty he is! (even though he seems a little camera shy here)
Girl, he's nearly bigger than you.

The photo is a little deceiving because we're leaning away from each other just a little bit--he likes to look me in the eye, the dork. So he's closer to the camera than it appears by about an inch or two, and I'm farther from the camera than it appears by about the same. But he's still good-sized--fifteen pounds, last I weighed him.

And he's not camera-shy per se? But when he sees it, he has to touch it and smell it, which makes it nearly impossible to take his photo. I had to use the timer to get that one.

lol @ "the dork". Cats are hilarious, aren't they. One of my little ones (Beau) insists on smooching me (on the lips no less) just before we fall asleep... he's lying on my arm, purring, I think he's fading off, then *smooch!* out of the blue, and he lies back down on the arm and sleeps. Like, "just had to say night night Mummy - I love you".

*melts for furries*

crashcat?! That's meee!
Oh sweetie, I'm just getting caught up with your journal... 1) I'm so sorry about the death/funeral/kids experiencing it for the first time thing :( I'm sure they were all grateful you were there *hugs tight* 2) another storm?! WTF. I'm glad you're safe. I feel literally sick about Stanley Park :( 3) Pixel feet!!! Thank you, darlin'. *smooches* Oh how I wish I could see you all right now. *heart aches*

Much love to you, sweetie... we'll chat soon.

Yes, that is you. *smooch* The funeral was interesting.
The storm actually scared me this time and I *like* wild weather.
Baby boy feetses!!!
I wish you were here now too!!! Soon maybe. ::clings::
