Stopped in at ms_nerd's today to feed the cats/keep them company, do homework, and watch a little tv.
She has them fancy cable stations that I don't and I watched "Bride and Prejudice".

Oh my God! What an adorable movie. The 'out-takes' were so cute.
Is it directed by the same woman who directed Bend It Like Beckham?

Hey sweetie! My mom rented that from Netflix thinking it was Pride and Prejudice. They watched it anyways and loved it!! Its been added to mine, so now I really can't wait to see it. :)

Also, checking IMDB.com, it is by the same lady that did BILB.

Hope your doing well!! *hugs*

Definitely by the same woman who did Bend It Like Beckham--somewhere on there she talks about where a lot of the different elements come from. Since I wasn't at all familiar with Bollywood movies, it was helpful.

For me, the most absolutely joyous moment in it is when the music starts at the house and they say Naveen Andrews' character is about to become the Indian MC Hammer (or something like that, it's been a while)

And then he just busts out! Hee.

Wow, in a fit of synchronicity, My Lips Are Waiting just came on my player. It's Bride and Prejudice night, apparently!

I bought that movie a while ago because it looked so cute...I just haven't watched it yet. *g* Maybe I should actually unwrap the thing tonight.

I saw it in the theatre when it came out with my family cause i thought it would be a good family thing to do. I was a wee bit disappointed. I liked bend it like beckham better!

The director is coming out with a new movie too...one with Ashwiriya again (The lead girl in B&J)...it's called "Mistress of Spices". In this movie though the Gurinder Chadha is not directing, but she did help write the script!

Maybe we can watch that when it comes out?!
