I just went to brush my teeth and I swear there was the shape of a man behind my shower curtain.
Of course there wasn't anyone there but man, I just about crapped myself. (good room for that to happen in) It wouldn't be so scary but for the last two nights Dakota the cat's been standing facing the wall, looking up and meowing endlessly until I can't stand it anymore and yell at her to shut up. I'm hoping she sees a spider up in the shadows or a little moth or something. I don't want entities living in my house.

Okay, enough dramatics, right?

So on a more amusing note. I saw the cutest / funniest thing on the way home today.
A woman gave her little terrier a full body mohawk! From nose to tail. I wish I'd had my camera with me!!!
So cute!

Would that be called a FUR-hawk? not to be confused with the infamous FU-hawk

My kitty ALWAYS does that. I'm not sure what the heck he sees, but he loves to meow at the wall. Hmm. LOL

LOL!!! I love your icon! My cat thinks boxes and bags have the magical power to make her invisible too. Crazy!

LOL He always plays 'spy' with me, too. Like, he'll hide half of his head around a corner, and waits till I'm not looking to try to sneak up on me. Then I'll look at him, and he stops dead in his tracks like if he stops, I won't be able to see him. Such a crackup! ;)

Yikes! That kind of thing freaks the shit out of me. maybe your apartment needs a cleansing or wards or something. um, not that i'm a big flake or anything. but it can work, even for imaginary entities.

Hey sweets. How's it goin'?

Your suggestion is a very good one. I've been wanting to cleanse my apartment for a while. There's some bad mojo in it that I'd like to send packing a.s.a.p.
and I know a young lady who could do it for me too...

good! how YOU doin!

Bad mojo is hard to live with. Jo's old apartment before she moved here was like, riddled with something - definite bad mojo. It's no fun and the imagination often can run away with the self.

I'd be happy to help you, if you like! though I'm no expert.

If you're talking about me, I've been *wanting* to cleanse your apartment for a while. At some point, sleeping in the living room got really, really scary, when before it was perfectly fine! I don't know what happened to make it change, man, but if you'd like one I'd be happy to do a banishing & blessing for you.

Actually, as it turns out -- *I'm* going away next weekend! Hee! But after that, definitely. It'll give me a little time to work out a nice ritual and put together all the necessary supplies, and then we'll get right on it.

That timing works for me. I hope the house doesn't get wind of our plot.
Is there anything I should do/get/prepare?

Actually, if you could find something to ground the good energy in, that would work. Anything that you feel to be protective and "holy" will work nicely; I use a statue of the Virgin Mary, and it's done wonders for making me feel safe and protected. Maybe something like that cross your sister sent you? Of course, if you don't feel particularly Catholic about it all, you can choose something else. *g*

That's about it -- the rest of the stuff is just incense and other parapharnalia, and I've got plenty of it!

Animals seem to do things like that a lot.

I hate when my dog suddenly looks at something and starts to bark, I tell him to shut up too, then end up looking at the spot he was watching all night *g*

Me too! I kept checking the corner in the hall all night. Before going to bed I was happy to see Dakota hopping about in the hallway trying to catch a tiny moth that got into the apartment. I'm not sure if she got it or got bored.
