DRIVINGorangekittydriving

as the sirens get closer....

Okay, well, I'm not sure if I'm going back to bed anytime soon.
There's nothing like a cop yelling for back-up into his walkie-talkie right under one's bedroom window to get one sitting bolt straight up in bed with one's heart trying to thump its way out of one's throat.
Jeepers Creepers!!!
That scared the hot water out of me! And now the total silence out there is creeping me out.

(no subject)

I can't believe how beautiful it is out there today.
I was up and out of the house by 10:00 a.m doing errands. I just got home. I had apartment insurance to pay blech and I was in dire need of new clothes for the summer so I skytrained it to the Pennington's [aka the 'fat lady' store] out at Patterson, because they were having a scratch and save sale and, well, I went insane and spent way too much money. Then I walked through Metrotown [hate that mall with a passion] where there was a show going on featuring a bunch of Britney and J-Lo look-alikes dancing their little perky bums off to some unrecognizable music. This of course was right in the middle of the mall which resulted in the place getting congested and no one able to get around the gawking onlookers. To distract myself from the annoying gathering of cattle, I bought myself a watch - I think JC might covet - if it had a designer name on it. It's the first watch I've owned in about 10 years. We'll see how long it lasts.
Anyway, I walked home from Metrotown. The paths were completely empty *happy sigh*. So now I'm tired and broke and probably won't be able to walk tomorrow because I'll be too stiff to move. But I've got a sparkly new watch [that I can hear ticking from across the room - that might be a problem] I've got some great t-shirts and new jeans.
Maybe I'll wear some of my new stuff tomorrow if my plans to spend the day at the beach still happen. Wheeee!
Hey ms_nerd you still up for a few hours in da sun mon?
