I had trouble with the "shrub or bush" question, because I use both terms. Shrub for the sort of formal, shaped evergreen one finds in front of a house; bush for wild, flowering or fruit-bearing plants. Although oddly, if there is a flowing bush among the shrubs, I would call them, collectively, shrubbery.

Language. Gotta love it.

I wouldn't say either "soda" or "pop" as we all know the correct term is "soft drink: ;)
