So All Hollow's Eve came and went in a blink this year it seems. (despite the fact I actually made a costume and wore it at work).Every year it's the same thing. I have child-like excitement/anticipation for one of my favourite holidays and *sigh* it's over before I've had enough....Anyway. It's the funner holidays for me and I'm happy actually this year that not one lousy bag of candies found its way into my house. (now if I could only avoid the temptation that is 50% off after sales.

So I was walking to work the other day and noticed a "DO NOT PARK HERE" sign beside a neighbouring apartment building. On the bottom of the sign below the "don't" circle were the words: "For Co-Op car(s) ONLY.
This cheered my carbon-footprinted little heart!!! This apartment building (I gather) has started a Co-Op car program. Thus eliminating one and/or two cars per unit. I don't have a clue about the logistics involved. Who pays for insurance/maintenance/yaddayadda, but I beamed for hours after seeing that sign. Even though later I wondered why there aren't tonnes more. Isn't that the coolest thing! You book the car for when you need it and the next guy does the same and so on and so on. I dunno, call me a dreamer, but I think it's one of the brilliantest things I've seen in ages.

Does anybody else have any environmentally uplifting thoughts, ideas, suggestions they'd like to share? I'd love to read about them, I bet others would too.

And now if you've managed to get this far, you're welcome to take this Poll of Randomness if you're interested.

Halloween: Watch the niece and nephew spin out of control on too much sugar, feed candy to the neighbor kids, watch NCIS on OnDemand with my mom.

Bad things: If it was something they could do something about, yes. If it was just going to make them feel bad without them having any options to change anything, then probably not. (Not meaning they should change themselves, could be anything, just the option for action of any kind)

Movie: Is The Prophecy a horror movie? I dunno. If so, it's my favorite.

Scariest thing: George Bush and our (US) current government.

Ahahahaha!!! If I'd been home I'd be watching my n&n doing the exact same thing!!

The Prophecy. Is that the one with Christopher Walken and Eric Stoltz? I swooned when I saw Eric in that movie!!!! NEED Stoltz icon now!!!

Your scariest thing IS sorta kinda scary these days isn't it.
:bites nails:

Hugs to you. Try and take it easy this week end my little dumpling.

bad things: if the comments came from someone they were close to, or someone who was backstabbing them, then yes, they absolutely deserve to know. if the comments are coming from someone of absolutely no significance, they really shouldn't be worried. :)

That's a very good spin on that one. I like it!

There was no fitting answer to question one, so I'll put it here: Went to a costume party on Saturday night before Halloween, dressed up again for work the day of, bought a small amount of candy but got no trick or treaters, chased my dog around the yard because he got out, watched Pushing Daisies, Criminal Minds (maybe that's my favorite horror film experience, because I usually end up all horrified and wrung out anyway), and fell asleep during CSI:New York.

Paranormal stuff: I am neither completely believer or skeptic. I am open to the possibility of ghosts and hauntings not because of my own experiences but because of my sister's. She used to live in a house that certainly appeared to be haunted, and she is not the type of person to hysterically jump to that conclusion over some odd but probably explainable thing happening.

Holy moly. There wouldn't have been room for that hallowe'en option.
That's a heck of a lot of stuff to pack into a day.

What kind of things happened at your sister's house?

For the record, I am behind on LJ. Marion has plenty of time to answer this poll. She hasn't. So, I am answering the poll once again. *lol*

Photography: It depends on how it's used. Most of the time, it is. When it's abused like in child pornography then it's not.

Question: Where do you work now? How are you and the kitties?

Good call on the photography question. I totally agree!!!

The kitties are all fine.

How are things going in your life these days.

Huh! Plenty of time? That's a bunch of baloney. I told you in an email that I would have to work overnight! So, at 9 PM (the time this thing was posted - my time) I was on my way to work. And when I got home at 7 this morning, I hadn't slept in 24 hours, so excuse me if I dozed on and off all day. And then I watched SGA and Rodney + John 4EVA OMG! <-- totally spoiled you now, hah!. And now I'm here, mere 24 hours after this poll was posted. Awesome poll, btw, choo! And, wow.

I tell a friend about hearing something bad about them if there was gonna be some constructive value to it. If it would only create angst and bitterness, then there'd be no point.

I've been to Stonehenge already, otherwise that would have been my answer on that one.

I agree on the telling question.

You can go back to Stonehenge again if you want to. :o)
I'd love to go one day. You could be the tour guide.
