Very pretty. If I ever bothered to prettify my nails, would't mind doing something like that.

If my nails were ever longer than the tip of my fingers I might consider some kind of decorating.
This looks so cumbersome. I wouldn't know how to pick up a pencil with those nails. :o)

How do you do dishes or make beds with them?

That's a perfect description! How do you do things with them?
What happens when you chip the polish on them?

A friend at work was just telling me that they use the term "Snoopy Dog House" to describe a house where the Christmas lights are kind of over the top--I think this is the Snoopy Dog House of personal grooming.

Not that it's a bad thing--being a little over the top is fun sometimes... hee!

Good term to describe them.

I had a co-worker who wore LONG false nails and during the Stanley Cup play-offs wore teeny tiny Detroit Red Wings logos on all her nails. (her fave team).
During the off season, she'd drill a tiny hole in the tips of a few and dangle little unicorn ear rings and shit like that from them.

*And* she was our FASTES most ACCURATE type setter.

It boggled my freaking mind!!!

Hmm. On the one hand (*snicker*), it's kinda cool--all festive-y and stuff. On the other hand...it's kinda...disturbing. I can't decide which hand is winning.

Okay, I'll stop with hand jokes, now. But seriously. Kinda cool, kinda disturbing. Me, I'd be worried about waking up with glitter everywhere.

Hands down, it's pretty festive. :o)
But how does she do any baking with those things?!

Oh, I want them! Of course, that would require me to have fingernails.

Gosh, imagine how pretty that bright green pus would have complimented your festive finger tips. Hope your finger's all better LucyLooo.

I wouldn'g be picking things up if 1. my nails were that long and 2. I thought I might chip or scratch the art work. Crazy but cool.

I don't know how they do it!
I worked with a girl (our fastest typest!) who wore false nails that she decorated 'seasonally'. Little Detroit Red Wings logos during the Stanley Cup. Hearts for Valentine's Day. Etc, Etc. She also would drill tiny holes in the tips of a few and dangle tiny unicorn or humming bird earrings from them.

Very festive... but looks like a HELL of a lot of work! Much more than I'm willing to do or even to sit through!
