Oh dear. I just dropped an opened pound of butter on the kitchen floor. It was nice and soft too.
Fun to clean up, oh yeah. . . Uh, no.
One of the cats was pretty happy about it. I think she's still licking her chops.

Lucky. My cats won't lower themselves to eating spilled or dropped food.

LOL. Mine are selective. One of Dakota's weaknesses is butter.

They'll deign to eat butter if I melt it and put it in a bowl in their eating area. None of that eating off the floor business for them. Rushford's big thing is salad greens, but he needs to be hand-fed. If you just put them on the floor he just sits and looks at you mournfully. Oh, and he'll eat doughnuts if they're still in the box, but not if you've already started eating them. He must have the first bite.

That's hilarious. Where do they pick up these quirks?

I don't know where they get these things. Both my cats were rescued from the street. You wouldn't think they'd be that picky.
