:o( ::pouts:: I don't get Animal Planet and didn't get to see the puppies.

crashcat, this is the cooler I was talking about that I got today. Isn't it cute! :o)

bossymarmalade, silvrsolace You'll be amused to know that this is the one and only time that Dakota has even acknowledged :o\

Disregarding the demon eyes, doesn't she look amused in the second pose? No, I didn't think so either. She hasn't looked at it since. Maybe it's sitting in the wrong place?
Maybe I have to slather cat nip juice all over it. Maybe I should turn it into a planter. :o\

I think the catnip is definitely the way to go. Or treat it like a prized posession! Rub yourself on it! that should pique her interest. ahahhah!

I'm gonna try moving it to the wall by the livingroom entrance. She sprawls there on a regular basis. [and lure her up on it with said catnip.]

How adorable! It's like the big office cooler had a baby!!! *pinches newborn cooler's chubby cheeks!*

I have to laugh at the second picture of Dakota - could she BE less impressed? LOL

*hugs too* Hope your Monday requires no use of the prod :)

But it was very generous and kind of her to sit up there and pose for you. ;-)

This is no doubt the same problem one has when attempting to find a suitable gift for a two-year old -- all they really care about it the colorful wrapping paper, the sticky bow, and the cool empty box that are left over once they have gotten your carefully picked-out and utterly-uninteresting to-a-two-year-old gift out of the box and tossed aside.

Stick one of your unwashed pillow cases over the top so that it smells like you. Or, better yet, shake your finger at her and firmly say 'no' anytime she looks that direction, and she'll be claiming as her own in no time. ;-)

LOL!!!

Will try the pillow case trick.

If that doesn't work the pointing/saying no should be the ticket!

Actually, though, my kitties are very fond of sleeping in the planters (there is one in particular which appears to be the prime, I-am-the-cool-cat spot) so perhaps you should go with that planter idea.

LOL! That might catch her eye, although, she's never been one to sit in the planters.
